The Rugged Tablet , also known as Titan RT, is an alternative for data collection to be used in a truck, tractor, sprayer, or ATV. This versatile device allows you to use your existing GPS receiver along with the Farm Data "Mate" programs in order to perform a wide range of tasks in the field. The result? The screen is easier to see than its smaller, handheld computing device counterparts (such as Pocket PC’s). The nearly eight and a half inch wide touch screen makes it a breeze to see what is displayed while at the wheel of the sprayer or tractor and driving over rugged terrain. The Titan RT is so tough that you may drop it, step on it, or even drive your tractor over it and it will still keep working! The makers of the Titan RT stress tested this rugged tablet by actually parking a large sized ute on top of it! When the truck was moved, there was no damage to the device at all. It’s truly able to take the beating that an HP iPAQ or other handheld device could never endure, and still keep your vital farm maps, global positioning system (GPS) data, and other critical information about your farming enterprise protected. The Titan RT can also withstand whatever nature throws at it. Heat, cold, rain, dust, mud—nothing can stop this rugged tablet!

Another advantage of the Titan RT is its super-wide display screen. The nearly eight-and-a-half inch diagonal display screen of the Titan RT is easy to see while you are at the wheel of your vehicle, no matter how bumpy the ride. The handy device gives you a convenient touch screen so you may enter information easily. Its built-in serial ports support a wide-range of GPS receivers and variable rate controllers, and its mounting accessories make it simple to affix to just about any vehicle cab or ATV.
